Paint a Tiny Textured Landscape
In this Skillshare class I will share each step of my quick process to create tiny, textured landscapes as we explore light, depth, and colors.
We will combine acrylic paint with one special ingredient, modeling paste, to create thick, chunky textures!
You'll finish this class with at least one 5x7 tiny textured landscape... but you might find that once you create one, it's hard to stop there!
Paint a One-of-a-Kind Christmas Ornament in Textured Acrylic
In this class I will teach you how to use two acrylic painting techniques to create a truly one-of-a-kind Christmas ornament. And of course, we’ll use modeling paste to create some nice texture.
Together we will paint a ceramic ornament inspired by the beautiful winter berries that pop up outside during this time of year.
You’ll end this class with a lovely, painted ornament that is perfect for gifting or hanging on your own tree. In my opinion, ornaments that are handmade are the most meaningful of all!
Create a Spring Floral with Tons of Texture
In this class we'll use a fun texture painting technique that will create an interesting 3D effect on your canvas and save you a ton of paint in the process. You might feel like you're painting with frosting!
My goal is to teach you a simple way to add a big impact to your acrylic art. Once you get the hang of this swirltechnique, the sky's the limit on how you can use it in your own painting process.
You’ll end this class with a chunky, colorful painting that you can hang in your home or give as a gift.
Paint Thick Textured Florals
In this Skillshare class I will teach you my technique to transform acrylic paint (which is otherwise quite flat) into beautiful textured art, full of interesting dimension. Thick impasto texture makes a huge impact on a piece of art and of course can be customized to fit your colors and style.
I teach a specific daub technique that anyone can learn - hint: you do not need to be an experienced artist!
You’ll finish the class with a beautiful piece of art on canvas that you would be happy to hang on your wall.
