Thank you for visiting my shop! I hope you love your new art.

Here you’ll find all the information you need about your new art. If you have any other questions, please feel free to email me at mymurraydesign@gmail.com

Your new original painting on canvas:

  • Each acrylic painting is sealed with permanent, non-yellowing, water resistant varnish. This protects the artwork from fading or UV damage.

  • Paintings are usually signed on the front unless it drastically detracts from the design. All paintings are signed and dated on the back.

  • Your canvas is gallery wrapped and painted on all the side edges, so there is no need to frame it, but you are welcome to have it framed if you would like.

  • The easiest way to hang your painting on the wall: Hang the back wood frame directly on a nail or two. That’s it. Easy Peasy. You are welcome to attach a wire or saw tooth hanger, but I find hanging directly on a nail keeps the painting nice and flush against the wall

  • To try out a spot, you can temporarily hand it from a couple push pins (not recommended for long term).

  • FAQ - Can I hang my canvas art in a bathroom with shower steam? YES! I’ve had dozens of clients do this. Daily shower steam will not damage the painting because the acrylic paint is not water soluble once dry. The coat of varnish offers an extra layer of protection. Of course, the painting should not be kept continually wet or submerged in water.

  • Paintings are usually signed on the front below the painting in the white space.

  • Your painting dimension is 5x7 inches on a paper that is 8x10 inches.

  • Good news, you can use a standard size frame! No custom framing needed. Choose either 5x7 or 8x10 to include the white space.

  • You can choose to frame with or without glass, I prefer without so that all that chunky texture really shines.

Your new original painting on paper.

  • Art prints are printed using the highest quality giclee printing available, and are printed by a professional on archival Somerset Velvet paper.

  • Each art print includes and additional 1/2” white border beyond the print dimensions. So, if you ordered a 5x7” print, your paper size will be 6x8”. An 8x10” print will be printed on a 9x11” paper.

  • This allows space to secure it to a mat for framing. You are welcome to trim the print if you don’t plan to use a mat and don’t need the extra border.

  • Each print is a standard size (5x7, 8x10, 6x6, 12x16, 20x24, etc.) which means no custom framing! You can find a frame online, at a craft store, or just about any big box store.

Your new art print.

  • I truly love these little calendars! Your calendar includes a cover page, 12 months on seperate cards, and a wooden block card holder.

  • All 12 cards will NOT fit in the wooden holder at once, and I think it looks better when they can be showcased on their own. If you want, you can probably fit 6 in the wooden holder at a time.

  • Each page is A2 - 4.25x5.5” and printed on a really pretty linen card stock.
